New Vinylmation Monorail Series featuring Disney-Pixar's Cars

This is a new Vinylmation series that will soon make its debut at Disney Parks. This limited release mystery series features characters from Disney-Pixar's "Cars" on figures shaped like monorails. Each monorail measures approximately 4.5" long and will be packaged in a mystery box. Artwork was created by Maria Clapsis in collaboration with Thomas Scott. Lin Shih designed the form and Eric Caszatt created the packaging. Each figure will be $11.95 each. 

Below is a look at Lightning McQueen from the series. 

If you are an Annual Passholder at Disneyland Resort, you will have a first opportunity to purchase these new figures starting on March 27. See HERE for additional details. There will be a limit of two trays per guest during the Passholder previews. 

The series will then be released at the D-Street locations and other Vinylmation locations in California and Florida on March 30. The series will also be released via the Disney Parks online store at a future date.

Eric Caszatt's Incredibly Happy Vinylmation

This is the Eric Caszatt's incredibly happy Vinylmation. Seriously, have you seen a happier figure? We couldn't help but smile when we saw it. So we asked Eric how he created this design. 

"This figure is a great example of letting the creative process take over. When I started, I wanted to do something c. I began tweaking colors as I continued through the design process. By the end, it turned into some crazy, happy figure like from some 1980s cartoon or video game. Some people have said that it looks like Maria Clapsis did the artwork. Perhaps her art style influenced my design."

This 9-inch figure will be released on May 20!

New Vinylmation Ear Hats with 3-inch Figures as part of the Urban #6 series

2 new Vinylmation™ Ear Hats with 3-inch figures were released on March 18 at the D-Street locations. They are part of the Urban #6 series and were inspired by two 9-inch figures coming in April.



 Hat designed by Maria Clapsis and figure designed by Caley Hicks. Edition size is 800 and retail is $49.95.
