This is coming to Disney Stores on March 28 to celebrate their 25th Anniversary. In each open box you'll find an explosion of "confetti" in the shape of Mickey Mouse heads and the "25th Anniversary" logos. 

Vinylmation Robots to be Released July 22, 2011

They're coming!

We have some exciting news to share: Vinylmation™ - Robots #1 is coming July 22 to the Disney Stores in North America. We. Can. Not. Wait! This series is filled with all sorts of awesomeness. 

The artwork for this limited release mystery series was designed by the talented Disney Artists from the Disney Store including Jim Valeri, Marcella Lau, Enrique Pita, Gerald Mendez, and Oskar Mendez. Here is a look at the Robots #1 tray. We love the vintage effect they added to the box. Nice.

There will be 11 known 3-inch figures and one mystery chaser figure in this series. Here is a look at one of the figures with the box and artist card.

There will also be three different 9-inch figures with this new Robots series.

Vinylmation Announcements for June 2011 - Part 01

On Friday, May 27, we are releasing the Vinylmation™ - Disney Afternoon - Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers set at the D-Street locations in California and Florida. D-Street in Florida will open at 10:30 a.m. and D-Street in California will open at 8:00 a.m. on that day. 

Also being released on Friday, May 27 is a 9-inch figure for the Disney Store at Times Square in New York City. Wow! This one is awesome!! It was designed by Jim Valeri and features the Statue of Liberty. The colors on this figure really shine! 

For fans in Florida who are attending Star Wars™ Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios™, we have good news! The Vinylmation - Star Wars Series #1 will be back in stock AND, to celebrate, we are holding a special meet and greet with Disney Artist Mike Sullivan who designed the series. He will be signing figures on May 27 and May 28 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Jabba's Hut (the specially designed merchandise location located near Disney's Rock 'N Roller Coaster). 

And mark your calendars for the upcoming releases on June 10.

"New York, New York" for the new Disney Store at Times Square

Here is a look at the front and back of the second 9-inch limited release figure titled "New York, New York." Disney artist Jim Valeri (who also designed the "Hey, Taxi!" figure that you'll see here tomorrow :-D ) created quite the love letter to New York City and all of its famous boroughs and icons. It is certainly "representin'" the NYC!
